Photography / Videography / Experience

When Travla partnered with the Tamworth Hotel for Tamworth Country Music Festival in 2023, we chucked the super 8 and the medium format in the car and drove on up with them to grab as much out of the week as we could. On top of all the music, madness and melting heat, we managed to squeeze in a fishing trip with Andy Golledge and Travis Fimmel, one of Travla’s founders and namesake, as well as some backyard BBQ’s, swimming holes, and even printed out souvenir photo postcards for the punters to take home with them.

Check out some film snaps below:

Fishing with Andy and Trav

If there’s one thing Andy loves as much as music, it’s fishing. Wanting to get the most out of the trip and some more evergreen content outside of the festival itself, we piled the rods into Trav’s troopy and headed out to Andy’s favourite local spots.

Photo Postcards

These suckers served a few purposes.

One; to give punters (and mostly first time Travla drinkers) something to take home from the festival with Travla and The Tamworth branding on it. Two; It encouraged people to come back to the Tamworth, as we’d print these overnight and hang them on the mini hills hoist the next day, ready to be collected.

On top of all that, it helped to sell the all Aussie image and setting for the Travla tinnie bar, and was a huge hit.

Social Edits

On top of the hero and fishing edits, we put together some on-the-spot phone footage reels to give Travla’s audience a live, true to life experience of the festival, as well as cutdowns with artist, hotel and beer focuses with pro footage.
